Events at STK Chicago
The sleek River North steakhouse has a bevy of events and special menus coming down the pipe in February, from ritzy wine dinners to Super Bowl shindigs. Here’s everything you need to know about the happenings at STK Chicago right now.
.
First up, the restaurant is popping bottles and hosting a Dom Perignon wine dinner on February 4. Yes, that’s right. True to form, the multi-course affair features a lineup of opulent dishes to match the vino. It all starts with foie gras with fresh cherry and black lava salt, followed by Hokkaido scallop layers with radish, herbs and yuzu truffle sauce. Third course is octopus with lemon dots and Sriracha aioli, then there’s an intermezzo of cucumber sorbet. The final savory course is dry-aged rib cap with red king crab, veal jus and citrus butter, and dessert is butternut squash mousse with wild berries, pomegranate and mint. Throughout, each course comes with an accompanying pour of wine, be it sparkling or otherwise. Veuve Clicquot, Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage Rose, Chardonnay and of course Dom Perignon all make appearances. The cost for the dinner is $185 per person.
.
The next day, things get a bit more casual for their Super Bowl viewing party. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the steakhouse hosts a three-hour package of beer, wine, bubbly and an impressive lineup of elevated bar bites. These include crispy fish tacos, spiced chicken wings and STK’s famous mini burgers. The Super Bowl will air on two of the restaurant’s 56-inch TVs with sound. The cost for the package is $75 per person.
.
Up next, stay tuned for details on STK’s Mardi Gras party on February 28. But it’s safe to say it’ll be an event not to miss, so save the date now.
