Windy City Smokeout :

The second annual Windy City Smokeout hosted by Bub City returns to Chicago July 11-13, 2014 bringing together the best of live country music, BBQ and beer at Grand and the Chicago River.

Windy City Smokeout presents an impressive line-up of country music stars with headliners including: ACM Awards “New Artist of the Year” nominee, Brett Eldredge on Friday, July 11, ACM Awards “Top Vocal Group of the Year” nominee, Randy Rogers Band on Saturday, July 12 and Grammy-nominated, Eli Young Band on Sunday, July 13. Additional performances by up-and-coming country talent like Josh Abbott Band and Chase Rice will also take the stage throughout the day.

To complement the live country music, guests can grab a taste from some of the best pit-masters and BBQ joints from around the country including New York-based Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, who will be expanding to Chicago in 2015, Pappy’s Smokehouse from St. Louis and The Salt Lick, hailing from Driftwood, Texas. Nationally-acclaimed, three-time barbeque World Champion Myron Mixon will also be dishing out BBQ bites in addition to some of the best in Chicago BBQ restaurants including Smoque, Lillie’s Q, Chicago Q, and Bub City.  New to Windy City Smokeout this year, an opportunity to meet and interact with the pit-masters through pre-festival cooking classes and an exclusive brunch.
