As STK comes into vision in River North, get an early look at Chicago’s forthcoming stylish steakhouse.

It’s steak with a side of sex appeal at Chicago’s forthcoming STK. With locations in sexy, vibrant cities like Las Vegas, Miami, and Los Angeles, STK has established a reputation as a sultry, sleek steakhouse geared towards a more feminine clientele. It’s less in the realm of the burly, brusque steakhouses that populate Chicago and more akin to alluring hot downtown spots like Dolce Italian, Fig & Olive, and Celeste. As STK’s Chicago debut inches closer, take an early look at the restaurant and what is soon to become the city’s most glamorous new steak destination.

ICRAVE studio was responsible for the meticulous design of the 13,000 square foot restaurant, located inside the Museum of Broadcast Communications building in River North.  With 210 seats, the contemporary haven contains a wine bar, a bistro, three private dining rooms, and a DJ booth, a stark departure from the classic steakhouse piano player. A large central bar anchors the dining room, while the ceiling is outfitted with fiberglass fins, bringing life and depth to this dynamic, unique space. Banquettes are shaped in semi-circles throughout the space, positioned specifically with intent to encourage mingling and socialization, as well as facilitate a natural “flow” of the restaurant.

A wine bar area is to the left of the dining area, featuring an ebonized wood bar and timber accents. Alongside, you’ll find private dining rooms through purple-tinted French doors.

In preparation for opening, STK has launched a “Friends with Benefits” incentive, a program designed to build relationships with guests by providing exclusive offers, experiences, and access to upcoming openings in Chicago.

STK is set to open later this summer.
